The Southtowns Youth Orchestra
WELCOME
Welcome to the home of the Southtowns Youth Orchestra, one of Western New Yorks premier student orchestras.
The orchestra is represented by students who attend school in southern Erie County (NY). Districts include Orchard Park, East Aurora, Hamburg, Iroquois, Frontier and Lake Shore.
Fall Concert
Our Fall Concert is coming quickly. Please join us at Iroquois Middle School on Sunday, November 24 at 3:00 p.m. for a wonderful afternoon of music.
Our featured soloist will be Lillian Moore (French Horn).
Tickets are on sale and you can purchase them below. Tickets will also be available to purchase at the door.
Our first rehearsal
The first rehearsal for SYO is Wednesday, September 18 from 7-9 PM at Orchard Park Middle School. If you have not yet picked up your music folders from Music and Arts it will be given to you at rehearsal.
A parent meeting will be held at 7 PM in the OPMS cafeteria. Important Information about the season will be discussed, including fundraising and other parent-specific topics. Please make every effort to have at least one parent attend.
